The Rambler Reserves- Join Our One-day a Month Program!
The Rambler has a long-standing tradition of working with volunteers. In our program volunteers work one Saturday or Sunday of each month and sometimes on an "emergency" basis when extra staff is needed for a special event or charter. Our primary Conductor is a full time volunteer and we have a variety of full time volunteer positions available.

Volunteers
Volunteers can receive up to 5 caboose charters per person and 16 tickets to give away as they deem appropriate. If volunteers are interested in learning about additional aspects of the railroad business or the steam engine, our management will try to work with each volunteer to meet their interests. Volunteers have the first choice on riding in the cab of the engine and/or the caboose when time/staffing allows.
Volunteers are subject to the same policies and guidelines as paid employees.

Volunteers must:
• Work well with people
• Have a safety minded work ethic
• Be willing to work one day of a weekend each month.
